Who is DRUŽINA ?

Družina is the largest catholic publishing house and ranks among the 5 largest book publishers in Slovenia. Družina is also the editor of the main catholic weekly newspaper.

Apart from the newspaper we also publish a set of magazines targeting young married couples, children, spirituality for adolescents, etc.

Each book can provide answers to the quest of individuals and society. The goal of our team of dedicated content seekers is to integrate readers of all generations into a network of creative authors endowed with a sparkling spirit. We strive to enrich the Slovenian culture through a loving attention to the challenges of the time and the world around us. We do so by respecting our cultural and natural heritage, and leaning on our Christian values, common memory and tradition.

As part of a media house wanting to be close to our readers from all walks of life, we draw current and relevant ideas from various platforms, creating a space for respectful and constructive public dialogue. We believe that, with a book in hand, we can become truer to ourselves, and, with our hearts shaped by good books, better prepared to meet the life’s challenges as Christians and citizens.

Knjiga me dviga …

… proti toplemu soncu, smislu, sreči. 

Vsaka je lahko odgovor na iskanja posameznika in vprašanja družbe.

Ekipa prizadevnih iskalcev vsebin bralce vseh generacij vključuje v mrežo ustvarjalcev iskrivega duha. S pozornostjo do izzivov časa ter ljubeznijo do sveta, ki nas obkroža, bogatimo slovenski kulturni prostor, izhajajoč iz krščanskih vrednot, skupnega spomina in tradicije ter spoštovanja kulturne in naravne dediščine.

Kot del medijske hiše črpamo aktualne in relevantne ideje iz prepleta različnih platform ter sooblikujemo prostor za spoštljiv in konstruktiven javni dialog. Želimo biti blizu našim bralcem na njihovih življenjskih poteh, saj verjamemo, da s knjigo v roki lahko postajamo boljša oblika samih sebe. Z dobrimi knjigami želimo oblikovati srca, da bomo kot ljudje, kristjani in državljani sposobni izpolnjevati naloge, ki jih življenje postavlja pred nas.
